There are all types of ways to make money online, Swagbucks has figured that out and decided to capitalize on the fact. There are so many things we utilize the internet for; whether it be searching for an item on Google, playing a game, or taking surveys, they are all everyday things we do for our own personal benefit. Have you ever thought about making money while you do your everyday things on the internet?

Swagbucks has created a way for people to make money while doing exactly what you’re already doing on the internet. In my Swagbucks review I will touch base on what Swagbucks actually is, how you can earn money with it, what type of support and tools are offered through Swagbucks, and what I felt is really great about the program, and what I felt could be improved.

Let’s take a look at Swagbucks….

What Is Swagbucks Anyway!?

Swagbucks is an online rewards program that has paid out $137 million to it’s members since 2008. The program offers activities, most of which you’ll be doing everything anyway, in return for rewards points. These rewards points are called swagbucks or SB, and one swagbuck is equivalent to 1 penny.

Swagbucks offers rewards such as gift cards, PayPal payments, and many other forms of gifts to be redeemed with your points earned. The gift options become available as you begin to accumulate your points. Once you hit a certain SB threshold, you’ll see more and more gifts that can be redeemed. This can be very relatable to the common credit card rewards programs out there. The more points you earn, the more gifts you can redeem for!

Swagbucks is available in US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, Germany, France, and India.

The best thing about Swagbucks? It’s Free to join and use!!

How Do I Make Money With Swagbucks?

There are 6 different ways to make money through Swagbucks. The first way is through survey completion. What this means is you fill out basic information about yourself, how many people live in you home, how often you shop ect.. From there Swagbucks will line you up with a survey that fits the right criteria. In order to complete surveys, you have to be a plausible candidate for the survey. For example, if you live in a home with 5 people, the survey may be looking to target people with large families. In this case, this survey would be ideal for you.  Surveys are the quickest and most efficvent way to earn money through Swagbucks.

The Second way is to watch videos provided from Swagbucks. There is a huge variety of videos to choose from that Swagbucks has partnered with to gain views on their videos. The videos may contain ads or new apps coming out, as well as different topic specific videos you can watch. You don’t earn as much this way, but it’s the easiest way to earn.

The Third way to earn with Swagbucks is to make searches on the web .. that’s it! All you have to do is make searches relating to what Swagbucks needs you to search and you can earn SB that way. There’s even a handy tool bar you can download into your webpage that will allow you to make searches without having to even visit the Swagbucks website.

The Fourth way is by doing your everyday shopping. This aspect reminds me a lot of Ebates. If you’ve ever used Ebates, you’ll know they pay you a certain commission back from you purchases depending on the store you are purchasing from. Swagbucks does the same kind of thing where you can actually pick through certain retailer’s. Each retailer will give different percentages back, but regardless, you’re getting paid to shop!

The Fifth way is through games. Swagbucks actually has a number of games you can play and test run, while you get paid to do it! Again, this isn’t the best way to earn with Swagbucks, but it’s still something you probably do everyday and get nothing for, so why not get rewarded while you’re at it!!Image result for swagbucks

The Sixth way to earn with Swagbucks is to complete random tasks and special offers that pop-up randomly. One of these tasks is a daily goal you’re given to beat. Every day Swagbucks sets a goal for you to earn your points to, if you beat their goal, you get awarded extra points. Some of the special offers will include signing up for other websites, completing your Swagbucks profile, finding hidden codes for bonus points on social media, hourly SB winners, as well as a referral program. For every friend you refer to Swagbucks, you earn 10% of their earning for a lifetime!

The idea of Swagbucks is to help you earn money while doing things that you may be doing everyday anyway, no skill or experience needed. Swagbucks even has a mobile app now so that you can play games and watch videos while at work or on the go.

What Tools Or Support Does Swagbucks Provide?

Swagbucks supplies a few different types of tools in order for you to utilize their program from wherever you are. One of the tools is the toolbar that you can download, once downloaded you can search the web and earn money through Swagbucks without having to go to their website and sign in.

Another tool offered is their mobile app. By downloading the app to your phone, you can earn Swagbucks wherever you may be in the world as long as you have an internet connection and a smartphone.

Other than those, Swagbucks is very simple to use and literally takes no explanation as you are simply doing things you do everyday on the internet anyway.

Swagbucks has a few different forms of support that they offer, one being their online help center. In the help center you’ll find hundreds of different FAQ and articles from previous questions asked. This database is available to you whenever you need it. You can also submit a request to their customer service to have a question answered. Customer service is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and they usually respond within 1 business day.

What I Like About Swagbucks

  • Many different ways to make money;
  • Very transparent about where you’re information on surveys is going;
  • Platform is very easy to use;
  • Have a mobile app to use on the go;
  • BBB accredited – A+
  • Daily earning goals help motivate.

What I Didn’t Like About Swagbucks

  • Surveys are dependant on whether or not your information matches what the survey is looking for. Will sometimes fill out surveys to find out you’re not qualified;
  • Surveys take some time, between 10 – 20 minutes;
  • Not a huge income earning .. most people only make about $1000 a month.

Conclusion

Overall I rated Swagbucks an 88/100 because it most derfinately is not a scam, and is an easy way to make some small spending cash. There are several ways to earn money, and even special over and above incentives to make money with Swagbucks. Swagbucks offers rewards for tons of popular retailers and vendors including Starbucks, Amazon, and many popular shopping spots.

Between the tool bar download and the mobile app, Swagbucks has made it easy for you to do the everyday things you want, as well as get paid to do them. They are available in multiple different countries, making it easy for almost anyone to take advantage of Swagbucks. If you really like Swagbucks, and want to refer a friend, you’ll get 10% bonus on their earnings by simply having them join for FREE!

Even though Swagbucks isn’t a huge income earner, I believe it is a great “over and above” supplement income for those impulse shops we are all guilty for.

  1. Everything looks very good.
    You have a good start on content and everything seems to flow well.
    You will certainly need more content to make a massive difference though.
    I think once you do that, itll take off with ease.
    Be careful not to spam content though.
    You got this and i support you!

    1. Hello,

      Thank you kindly for the feedback on my website, hopefully the content regarding swagbucks was what you were looking for as well. Over time I’ll start to generate more content and more reviews and my site will begin to take off very nicely. Thanks for the support.

      Cheers

  2. I tried Swagbucks before but because I live out of the US, there are limited things that I can do to earn. For examples, I always get rejected for surveys and I don’t always shop for things from the US.

    As much as I fancy the reward program, I think I am better off building an affiliate blog that focuses on one/two products that can truly convert. Just sharing my two cents.

    1. hello,

      Yes, I can see where it wouldn’t make complete sense for you to utilize swagbucks. I’d be curious to see if there is a rewards program more suited to where you live? Have you found a similar one specifically for folks out of the US. The internet is a large place and even though a good majority comes from the USA there are tons of visitors such as yourself coming from outside of it.

      Thanks for putting your opinion in on swagbucks!

      Cheers,

      Brooke

  3. Hi Brooke, thanks for this review, I actually think I will refer this site to my son, he is an avid computer buff he may as well earn money with it…playing games =)
    As you say in your review, this is not exactly the way to make a “real” business out of, but hey, $1000 per month is by far better than nothing!

    1. Hello!

      Thanks a bunch for coming to my site and leaving your comments! It totally worth looking into, since why not get paid to do exactly what you’re doing anyway. This is definitely more pocket cash to be spent on over and above items that you cannot normally buy, but it’s still money in your pocket!

      Have a great weekend!

  4. HI Brooke,
    Thanks for writing this article for me. I have never heard of Swagbags before. It was nice that they had so many different options to make money and it was nice that they were so transparent with the information that they collect. You said that Swagbags are “BBB accredited – A+”. I was just wondering what this actually means because I haven’t heard the term before. Thanks for the table at the end of the post as well. I thought that was a great idea and it allows me to compare Swagbags with another program I am currently using. Thanks again.

    1. Hello!

      Swagbucks is a good way to make a bit of side cash, but can be difficult to make a full time living from. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) is a site that looks to create better relationships between businesses and consumers. By allowing a network for people to submit complaints, and/or submit compliments and comments regarding the business for other consumers, the BBB helps identify those businesses that you would want to get involved in, and businesses better left alone. Although the BBB doesn’t fully convey a businesses whole story, it can be really helpful in identifying some of the struggles or improvements the business may have or require. With the rating of A+, BBB is simply telling me that despite any complaints and/or comments the business has had, the business is committed to resolving any issues or concerns within a timely matter.

      I am glad you enjoyed the article and I look forward to chatting again!

      Cheers,
      Brooke
